Did you know? That many mature Christians who have heard multiple teachings and read many different books about the end times, and who actually lean towards a particular doctrine, still run around searching for the truth? Why is that?
Its partly because they have never heard the whole truth. All of the doctrines that are floating around today have elements of the truth in them, but they come up short when you really start to analyze them. They sound good when a skilled speaker lays things out for us or when we read them in a well-written book, but when we open our own Bibles, the things that we are taught are by no means apparent in what we read. No matter what particular doctrine you believe in, there are flaws in it. Things are about to change. The following questions are just a part of the true interpretation of the end times prophecies that are discussed on this site and in the books offered on this site. After studying these materials youll be able to open your own Bible in the future and still see the things that you learn here.
Did you know? That millions of Christians are not going to just suddenly disappear in the rapture?
The Bible says in 1 Corinthians 15 that we will be changed in the twinkling of an eye. That doesnt mean that we will just suddenly disappear. It means that our old body will be changed into a new glorified body. Afterwards, we will be caught up into the clouds to be with Jesus. The whole fifteenth chapter of 1 Corinthians is talking about Resurrection. Verses 51 and 52 talk about the resurrection of the dead saints right before the Rapture takes place. That is also where it says that those who are living at that time must go through the same transformation, from corruptible to incorruptible, before they can be raptured from the earth. Being changed from corruptible to incorruptible does not mean we disappear, it just means that we take part in the Resurrection that must occur before the Rapture can occur.
Did you know? That the Rapture will be witnessed by all the earth.
Matthew says that the tribes of the earth will see Jesus coming in the clouds and mourn as He "gathers" His elect. Revelation 1 says every eye shall see Him and those who pierced Him. In Acts 1:9-11, the angles said He would return in the same manner as He leftin the clouds and with onlookers. We will be "gathered" unto Him and "caught up" to Him at that time. Jesus repeatedly tells us to look up and to look to the clouds because that is the only place that we will see Him coming when He does come to rescue His redeemed. So whats up with this idea of Christians suddenly vanishing without a clue?
Did you know? That the word Rapture describes the time in Matthew 24:29-31 where Jesus returns after the Tribulation to gather His elect and not a disappearance of believers?
The word Rapture means to be caught up emotionally in some type of joyful or pleasant experience. By extension, we use it to refer to our joyful catching away. We use it to describe the time when Jesus appears in the clouds and sends forth His angels to airlift believers off the earth before the wrath. It does not describe a sudden disappearance of believers just as being changed in the twinkling of an eye does not describe a sudden disappearance.
Did you know? That Jesus returns twice in the end times?
First, in the clouds to gather His people from the wrath to come. Jesus said that this would occur after the time of Great Tribulation and before the Wrath of God. All of Gods redeemed will be in heaven during the entire time of Gods wrath enjoying the marriage supper of the Lamb until His wrath is complete. Afterwards, Jesus will return to the earth one last time with His saints and His angels at His side to fight the Battle of Armageddon. After the battle is complete, Jesus will have firm control of the earth and begin to reign over His everlasting kingdom.
Did you know? That the Bible repeats over and over again the end times sequence of events of Tribulation~Rapture~Wrath.
Somehow we have combined the Tribulation and Wrath of God into one event, and skyjacked the Church out of here before even the shadow of a difficulty should arise. Tribulation and wrath are two totally different events or collection of events. In fact, they are two totally different words with different meanings. In the Bible, tribulation refers to the troubles that we endure in this life as a result of the fall of mankind and the persecution from Satan and those who obey him. On the other hand, wrath almost always refers to Gods angry and vengeful judgment of sinners who cause tribulation. The Church will be here when the anti-Christ is causing tribulation, but we will be delivered from the wrath that is poured out on the anti-Christ and all of the sinners who remain on the earth after the Rapture.
Did you know? That the Great Tribulation and the Wrath of God are two totally and distinctly different things {or time periods} separated by the Rapture?
We are not appointed to wrath, but we are told over and over again to expect tribulation or hard times. In fact, the Bible tells us that we are blessed to be counted worthy to suffer for the sake of the Gospel. Tribulation means troubles, and those troubles come from the persecution of other people, tragic events and the torment of evil spirits. The Great Tribulation is going to come as a result of Satan being cast out of heaven and to the earth in the end times, and the subsequent rise of the anti-Christ to power. The Great Tribulation includes wars, famines and plagues that trouble the whole earth along with persecution of Christians and Jews. The anti-Christ will be causing great distress, and tribulation across the face of the earth as he captures Israel, torments believers and possibly tries to spread his borders beyond the ten nations of the Middle East who willingly surrender their power over to the him. The Wrath of God, on the other hand comes directly from God against the sinners that are left on the earth with the anti-Christ after the Rapture. All of the strange occurrences that we read about in the Revelation, such as the seas turning to blood, the sun not shining for a third of the day, the 200,000,000 horsemen from out of the Euphrates River, the locust with scorpion stings and the Battle of Armageddon, are all a part of the wrath of God, and they will be targeted at the anti-Christ and all of those who reject God after the Church is gone.
Did you know? That the Bible never says that there will be a one world government at the end times?
It says the antichrist will rule over 10 nations which join forces before the anti-Christ ever comes to power, and they eventually submit to him as the supreme ruler of the empire that is created by their co-operation. Even though these ten nations willingly join forces, the anti-Christ still must conquer 3 of them to keep them under his power. In other places when it speaks of the antichrist it talks about him devouring, destroying and making war. Does that sound like a one world government? When commands are giving regarding the whole earth the followers of anti-Christ will have to use force to implement them. Jesus said that all flesh would perish if not for the intervention of God. Does that sound like a one world government?
Did you know? That the Bible says the anti-Christ makes a 7 year peace deal with Israel and then breaks the deal in the middle of the 7 years, and it is the second half of this seven years that is referred to as the Great Tribulation?
It's obvious from the Scriptures that the anti-Christ is going to persecute and kill Christians during the second half of this 7 year period. It is also obvious that Christians will still be around when the anti-Christ is revealed to the world by brokering a peace deal with Israel as he rules over an empire of ten nations. It is the signing of the peace deal that begins this 7 year time period. Many Christians believe that they will be gone before the anti-Christ is ever revealed. This simply is not true.
Did you know? That the Bible never says that the Wrath of God is a part of this 7 year period?
Seriously, it never says that the Tribulation and the Wrath of God are the same thing, or that they occupy the same time frame. Gods wrath is not Daniels seventieth week. The ant-Christ is the one who makes the 7 year treaty and then breaks it in the middle to begin the 3 1/2 year Tribulation. Since the Rapture and the Wrath of God both follow the Tribulation, they would occur after the 7 year period has expired. Gods wrath is not Jacobs trouble either. The Tribulation is Jacobs trouble, when the anti-Christ overthrows Israel one last time in the end of time. He enters the temple of the Jews and claims to be God, even as he has Jews slaughtered one last time. Those believing Jews who heed the warning of Jesus to flee to the wilderness as they see the anti-Christ enter the temple, will be cared for by God until Jesus returns to rapture the Church. Jesus said that the time of Tribulation will be halted so that the anti-Christ will not be able to destroy all flesh. God cuts the Tribulation short by rapturing the Church and then pouring out His wrath upon the anti-Christ and all of those people who are left on the earth, who were too blind to see that they needed a savior who could deliver them from the wicked one.
Did you know? That the anti-Christ may never rule any other nations beyond his base of ten nations that give their power over to him, and Israel which he will definitely capture?
The Bible never declares that the Beast Empire will spread much beyond his original borders, but he will be a major part of the Great Tribulation that takes place on the earth. There could be wars erupting in other parts of the earth that are unrelated to what is happening in the Middle East, except that those other aggressor nations could use the break down of peace in the Mid East as a cover for their own evil deeds. Daniel says that the anti-Christ will trample down and devour the earth, and he referred to the time of the anti-Christ as a war in Daniel 9:26. The only details that Daniel gives confine the war to the Mid East and North Africa, but it could be much more extensive than that. We know that the beast will devour that part of the earth which he controls. He will face resistance within His own kingdom and subdue three of the leaders that had been cooperating with him. What we dont know is whether any of the rest of the earth tries to assist Israel or any of the other nations that surround the Beast Empire, thus bringing the rest of the world to the anti-Christ in a World War. Regardless of what is happening in the rest of the world, it does seem apparent that the anti-Christ will be at the center of World War Three. Jesus said that those days will be cut short when He comes to rapture the Church, before the Wrath of God begins to be poured out. If God did not cut the time of Great Tribulation short, all flesh would be destroyed, the good with the bad, by Satan not God.
Did you know? That there likely will be many nations around the earth that do not follow after or fall under the power of the anti-Christ?
The Revelation points out that many of the plagues of the Wrath of God fall only on one third of the earth. At the same time, it points out that the plagues are aimed primarily at the kingdom of the beast. We know that the anti-Christ will rule from Jerusalem at some point, and we know that the city of Babylon will be a big part of his kingdom. Daniels prophecies repeatedly point us to the Middle East as the place where the beast will rise to power in the latter days. The Middle East will be the base of power for the anti-Christ as the people of the Mid East submit to him and fight his wars for him. The kingdom will have to spread beyond the Mid East to North Africa, Asia and perhaps even parts of Europe, in order to make up one third of the earth. All the nations that are not a part of this one third of the earth will most likely be putting up the fight of their lives to contain the anti-Christ. The aggression of the anti-Christ and the resistance that he faces from the other nations is what will bring on the destruction of all flesh if God were not to intervene. Those nations who do not fall under the power of the beast will be spared the brunt of the Wrath of God when He begins to unleash it against his kingdom. They might not have been Christian nations when they resisted the beast, and all of the Christians will be gone before Gods wrath begins, but at least they had enough sense to know that the anti-Christ is not empowered by the God of compassion and love, and who resides in heaven.
Did you know? That Muslims are looking for the return of Jesus before the judgment of God just like Christians.
The problem is that they are looking for a different Jesus. They call him Isa. He is the Jesus of the Bible, but they don't believe that He died for anyone's sins on the cross. They believe that Allah took him into heaven until the time of the end when he will return to kill Jews, to fight against Christians, and to convert everyone to Islam. He will also fight against the Muslim version of the anitchrist. It appears as though their Christ is our anti-Christ, and our Christ is their antichrist. The Bible says that the anti-Christ that we are looking for will use a special mark to try and force everyone to accept him as deity, and anyone who denies him should be killed. It's either take the mark and submit, or die. Muslims are training their children to be ready to submit to Isa (anyone who will lead them against Jews and other infidels), and to go to war for him when he returns to put down all opposition to Islam.
Did you know? That the Bible actually gives names and ample clues as to whom the 10 nations that the beast will rule over are?
Those nations that are named are primarily in the Middle East and North Africa and are predominantly Islamic. Islam is an antichrist religion from the very pages of the Quaran. Allah has placed a death sentence on anyone that converts from Islam. Muslims also have orders from Allah to fight against "infidel" Christians and Jews in many circumstances.
Did you know? That the anti-Christ will not lead an apostate church that has fallen away from the gospel in the end times?
The Bible does not say that, and the Pope is not the antichrist either. The anti-Christ will be a spiritual leader but not of any kind of a wayward Church. He will be the supreme ruler of the group of 10 nations mentioned above, and they will consider him to be deity, but they are not Christian nations that will suddenly fall away. There has been a falling away though. In the nations where Christianity began it is now all but eliminated.
Did you know? That the time of Gods wrath is considerably longer than the Great Tribulation?
By simply adding the times together of different events that are a part of the Wrath of God, we can see that the Wrath is longer than the 3 1/2 years of Tribulation. Therefore, the pre-Tribulation Rapture theories that combine the Wrath and the Tribulation together, fail to rapture the Church prior to the first several months or even years of Gods wrath because they are trying so hard to remove us from the Great Tribulation that Satan causes.
Did you know? That the Rapture happens after the Great Tribulation?
Weve done a pretty good job of confusing this issue over the last 2000 years, even though Jesus Himself said in Matthew 29-31, Immediately after the tribulation of those days......the heavens shall be shaken......and then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven......and He shall send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together His elect. Just eight verses prior He said for then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world." There is only one Great Tribulation and after that comes the one and only Rapture. So whats up with all the pre trib, mid trib, post trib, past trib, and no trib?
Did you know? That even though Jesus, Paul, Matthew, John and others grew up in the Roman Empire they never mentioned Rome or the Roman Empire when they spoke about the end times in the Bible?
Did someone forget to tell them? Rome is never mentioned in the Book of Revelation. In Daniel, there are only two places that may indirectly mention Rome. In Daniel 2, Rome may possibly be mentioned as a part of a mutating group of empires in the Middle East that took turns persecuting and enslaving the land of Israel. Each of the known empires {Babylonian, Persia and Greece} from Daniel 2 were judged and dismantled by God. Rome was not judged but allowed to diminish slowly under the weight of its own sin. All of the rest of the prophecies of Daniel end with the Greek Empire, and in particular the Middle Eastern portion of the Greek Empire that was ruled from Syria. There is always an immediate transition from the Ancient Greek Empire to the empire of the anti-Christ in the end times. Daniel 11:30 may possibly be a mention of Rome where it says the ships of Chittim bring resistance against the anti-Christ. For nearly two thousand years, there have been Biblically unsubstantiated theories about a revised Roman Empire that is ruled by the anti-Christ. Its just not going to happen. There is, however, something about the Greek Empire of the past and the Empire of the Beast in the future that God wants us to understand. They are inextricably linked together by the verses below from Daniel that speak of the anti-Christ rising from the latter day version of the Greek Empire.
Daniel 8:21-25
21 And the rough goat is the king of Grecia: and the great horn that is between his eyes is the first king {Alexander}.
22 Now that being broken, whereas four stood up for it, four kingdoms shall stand up out of the nation, but not in his power.
23 And in the latter time of their kingdom, when the transgressors are come to the full, a king of fierce countenance, and understanding dark sentences, shall stand up.
24 And his power shall be mighty, but not by his own power: and he shall destroy wonderfully, and shall prosper, and practise, and shall destroy the mighty and the holy people.
25 And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many: he shall also stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand.
Did you know? That it is impossible at this time to pick out a person from the political or spiritual landscape and say with assurance that this is the anti-Christ?
The Bible says that the ten nation alliance that the anti-Christ will rule over will be established before he begins to reign. When the time of the end is fully come, he will take the place of his predecessor and make a phony seven-year peace agreement with Israel. Only after he takes control of the league of ten nations and makes a peace agreement with Israel will we be able know him. Fulfilling one out of the two requirements is not enough. He must accomplish both before we can be sure.
Did you know? That the Bible also says that the anti-Christ was, and is not and yet he is?
It also says that the anti-Christ will ascend out of the bottomless pit where he is being restrained until his time. That makes it rather difficult to pick him out of the crowd before his time comes. The anti-Christ is quite difficult even to explain. The spirit of the beast, which is how Daniel and the Revelation both referred to the anti-Christ, is being restrained in the same bottomless pit that Satan will be restrained in during the Millennial Reign.
Did you know? That the Revelation and other end time prophecies are actually pretty easy to understand?
That is if you are willing to put away thousands of years of tradition and just accept what the Bible says. A lot of traditional thinking dates back to the time of the Roman Empire and is based on faulty reasoning and a lack of insight. Only by putting those ideas aside and looking at what is written in the Word of God can we come to the proper conclusions.
Did you know? That the Bible says in 2 Thessalonians 2:3, that we should "not let any man deceive us by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition?" But, what day is this talking about?
It is referring back to verses 1 and 2 of the same chapter where it says, We beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. So we see by these verses that Paul was telling us that the anti-Christ will come before the Lord comes for the Rapture, which is part of the day of Christ, when we will be gathered unto Jesus in the clouds. Weve had a whole lot of deceiving concerning when the Rapture will occur. Most of it is unintentional, but nevertheless, the Church has been very confused concerning the timing of events for the end times. The Church will see the anti-Christ before the Rapture occurs.
Did you know? That you do not need to be a great scholar, a genius or theologian to understand the Revelation?
In fact, it may be a disadvantage because you would have been force fed all of the old traditional ideas that have kept us so confused. The content on this sight and in the corresponding books is clear and without contradiction. It may contradict what you already believe, but the things that we have been believing in the past are not without contradiction. That is why so many people continue to search after the truth. After seeing the truth, it becomes evident that all that came before it was either a lie or merely theory. Its time to learn the truth about the end times.
