THE END
A New Beginning

The end of this world is actually just the end of doing things the wrong way. It is the end of sin, corruption, and the rule of Satan as the god of this earth. Even the heavens and the earth, which we are a part of, will be dissolved. But, even as we see the end of all these things approaching, we also see the beginning of something transcendently better coming our way. It is the beginning of a new life in a new body on a new earth where the fruits of righteousness reign supreme. It is an eternity of bliss where all of our tears are wiped away by God and where we no longer have to even consider what kind of troubles and tribulations might be coming our way. There will no longer be anyone to cause us trouble. Our salvation will be complete, and our peace will be eternal.

How can we end this book about the end-times Revelation without giving an invitation to all to be a part of the family of God and the eternity that He has planned? As we have seen, being one of God’s children does not mean that we never see bad times in this lifetime. In fact, being one of God’s beloved, at times, makes us targets of persecution, if not from unbelievers, then definitely from the demons of hell. Yet, through it all, God gives us victories in all the troubles which we endure through Christ Jesus, and no amount of suffering in this life is worth giving up heaven and God’s eternal kingdom over—not ever. The disciples of Jesus counted it an honor to be thought worthy of the persecution which they endured for the work of the Lord and so should we.

The first thing that you need to realize is there is no other way into heaven except through Jesus Christ our redeemer, and we must do it God’s way because there is no other way. All it takes to be saved is a little faith in your heart and a prayer on your lips.

Romans 10:9-10

9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

What happens is a true and recognizable miracle. Something happens on the inside of you, and that something is a brand new spirit created in the likeness of God down in the very core of your being. This does not mean your personality or who you are is changed, but there is something deeper that is taking place in that part of you that either has hope or despair, love or hate, faith or doubt, joy or anguish, peace or fear, righteousness or separation, meekness or arrogance. God wants you to have the better of these spiritual attitudes, and they are attainable with the new spirit that He births inside of you.

1 Peter 1:23

23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.

All the mess that is inside you—the heaviness of sin, the feelings of unworthiness, and hopelessness—are all taken away so that God can start filling your heart with His life and His joy.

2 Corinthians 5:17-18

17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to Himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;

The life of God is a collection of desirable spiritual attributes that make you more like Jesus and help you to be able to serve God in your spirit as you put away the destructive works of the flesh and submit to His Holy Spirit. This all becomes a reality after you are born again, and the Word of God and the Spirit of God begin to work on the inside of you.

Galatians 5:19-24

19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,

20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,

21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,

23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

24 And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.

The word “gospel” means “good news,” and the good news is this: We don’t have to make ourselves good enough to go to heaven because He did it all for us. When we are born again in our spirit, our new spirit is created in the likeness of God. His goodness is put on the inside of us, and we are made righteous in His eyes. Jesus has taken the guilt and punishment for our sins, and He makes us righteous when we receive Him as our Savior.

2 Corinthians 5:21

For He hath made Him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him.

As I said earlier, all it takes is a little faith and a simple prayer. Do you believe what God is saying to you in these verses? That’s called faith when you believe God’s Word before you ever see the promise fulfilled. So, now that you have faith, all you have to do is pray.

Romans 10:13

For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Now pray this prayer.

Father God, I thank you for sending Your Son Jesus to die for me on the cross to pay the penalty for my sins. Jesus, I receive you into my heart and my life right now as my Lord and Savior. Take away from the inside of me the things that are not what you want for me and create in me a new heart that is just like yours. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit. Teach me to live for You all the rest of my days and lead me into the destiny that You have for me. In Jesus name I pray. Amen!

Now that you have received Jesus as your Lord and Savior, your life will begin again with a new direction and with new desires. All you have to do is follow after those new heartfelt desires as you put aside the desires of the flesh. Congratulations, and God bless you in the rest of your life because this is justÉ
